Duplicate or copy templates
What you'll need
- Any eAuditor Plan
- Web app or mobile app
- "Templates: Create" permission
- Full seat
- "Conduct, edit" template access level at a minimum
- You can duplicate or copy an existing inspection as the basis for a new inspection.
- Duplicating a template will not copy its access levels. The duplicate uses your organization's default template access.
Duplicate a template
1. Log in to the web app.
2. Select Templates from the menu on the left-hand side.
3. Click More vertical icon located on the right-hand side of the template you want to duplicate.
4. Select Duplicate iconDuplicate template.
5. You can find the duplicated templates at the top of your template list.
1. Open the mobile app.
2. Tap Inspections at the bottom of your screen.
3. Select Templates at the top of your screen.
4. Tap the template and select Details from the pop-up options.
5. Tap More vertical icon at the upper-right corner of your screen and select Duplicate.

3. Select Templates at the top of your screen.
4. Tap the template and select Copy content iconDuplicate from the pop-up options.
- When you duplicate a template inside a folder, the duplicate will appear in the template list, but you can move it into the folder if needed. If a duplicated template has a document number response, the document number's sequence continues from the original template.
Duplicate multiple templates
- Log in to the web app.
- Select Templates from the menu on the left-hand side.
- Using the checkboxes on the left-hand side, select the templates you want to duplicate.
- Click Duplicate icon Duplicate on the bottom of the page.
- You can find the duplicated template at the top of your template list.
