Visual Inspection

- Ensure all breakers and fuses are of the correct type and rating.
- Operate each breaker manually to ensure it moves freely and snaps back correctly.
- Inspect for any signs of wear or damage.
Electrical Testing
- Voltage and Current:
- Measure and record the voltage and current at each breaker.
- Compare readings with the design specifications.
- Insulation Resistance:
- Perform insulation resistance testing using a megohmmeter.
- Record readings and compare with manufacturer specifications or previous records.
Functional Testing
- Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCIs):
- Test all GFCIs for proper operation.
- Arc Fault Circuit Interrupters (AFCIs):
- Test all AFCIs to ensure they are functioning correctly.
Safety Checks
- Grounding and Bonding:
- Verify that all grounding and bonding is intact and meets code requirements.
- Clearances and Accessibility:
- Ensure proper clearances around the panel.
- Confirm that the panel is easily accessible for maintenance and emergencies.
Documentation and Reporting
- Record Keeping:
- Document all findings, including any issues and corrective actions taken.
- Update panel schedules and single-line diagrams as necessary.
- Report Issues:
- Report any major issues to the appropriate personnel immediately.
- Schedule follow-up inspections or repairs if needed.
Safety Precautions
- Always use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures before starting maintenance.
- Ensure only qualified personnel perform maintenance tasks.
Periodic Review
- Schedule regular inspections based on the environment and usage of the panel (typically every 6 months to a year).

- Document the inspection of electrical connections via the eAuditor Audits & Inspections.
- Record any loose connections or frayed wiring, and take photos if necessary.
- Input torque settings as per manufacturer recommendations.
- Breakers and Fuses:
- Use the eAuditor Audits & Inspections to log the inspection of breakers and fuses.
- Record manual operation of each breaker and take photos if signs of wear or damage are found.
Electrical Testing
- Voltage and Current:
- Use the eAuditor Audits & Inspections to input measured voltage and current readings at each breaker.
- Compare and record discrepancies against design specifications.
- Insulation Resistance:
- Record insulation resistance readings using a megohmmeter.
- Input the readings into the eAuditor Audits & Inspections for future reference and comparison.
Functional Testing
- GFCIs and AFCIs:
- Test and document the operation of GFCIs and AFCIs within the eAuditor Audits & Inspections.
- Record any failures or irregularities.

- Ensure all findings, photos, and notes are saved and backed up.
- Issue Reporting:
- Immediately report major issues via the app’s notification system.
- Schedule follow-up inspections or repairs within the eAuditor Audits & Inspections.
